The compensation board will meet Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 8 am in the board room at the courthouse.
The compensation board recommends to the board of supervisors a wage increase (if appropriate) for county elected officials.
Each elected official appoints one person to the compensation board, with the supervisors appointing two to represent the group. Serving on the compensation board for fiscal year 2020 wages are Guy Richardson for the auditor; Mary Jane Fields and Jim Unger for the supervisors; Tom Heater for the attorney; Steve Haupert for the sheriff; Tim Heisterkamp for the treasurer, and Jody Paup for the recorder.
Compensation board members are not paid.
